description

brief description:

situated in the northern part of Sarregumemines, the Blies Mill houses the Museum of Faience Techniques. Inaugurated in 1998, the collection of machines and specialised tools of the trade offers an insight into the secrets of the craft of ceramic art, allowing visitors to trace the entire production process. The area surrounding the museum was once an industrial wasteland. While incorporating the old factory ruins, landscape artists have transformed the grounds into the beautiful Garden of the Faience Workers.
