Lake Noswendel

description

brief description:

dammed up in 1979, the Noswendeler See is a picturesque lake in an idyllic location, surrounded by woodland, meadows and reeds. Measuring 6,6 hectares, it is the centrepiece of a local recreational area, approximately 20 hectares in size, between the towns of Noswendel and Noswendelroth. During high season, a number of events take place in this region. The lake is filled by the flow of a creek by the name of Wahnbach (also called Speckenbach). A paved walking path leads around Noswendeler See. Pedal boat rental, jetty, playground, restaurant.
