Hotel Goethe in Ottweiler
This charming historic-style hotel, whose original building parts date back to the 15th century, is said to have hosted young Goethe when he travelled through the Saarland in 1770.

The hotel's seven double occupancy rooms, spread over two storeys, can accommodate up to 19 guests. 18th century half-timbered style. Cosy atmosphere, Mayflower style furniture, canopy beds. The building's oldest original parts, such as the archway, were part of Ottweiler's town wall.

The hotel is situated in the heart of the small, picturesque old town of Ottweiler. Beautifully preserved, it boasts a lovely combination of varied buildings that span the ages (medieval, baroque, romantic, classic)

Breakfast served daily; catering can be arranged upon prior agreement; there are also numerous restaurants in the immediate vicinity.
Film crews have stayed at the hotel as guests, but no official filming at the time.
The municipality of Ottweiler is always very happy to accommodate film crews. Filming is definitely welcome!
Excellent access via A1 and A8 guarantees quick and easy navigation through the tri-border area.
Ottweiler train station can be ached within a 5 minutes' walk.
