Seven Ponds Loop

brief description:

The seven ponds loop is a half-day hiking/biking tour with relatively few inclines which passes through beautiful valleys and woodlands in and around the picturesque Baroque town of Blieskastel. The trail gets its name from the seven ponds that line the route. There are many lovely spots along the way that are perfect for having a picnic, also possibilities for stopping to get a bite to eat. Depending on how long of a break you take, the half-day tour can easily turn into an entire day tour. St. Ingbert and Niederwürzbach are both convenient starting/ending points since they both have a train station.
